Problem Solving

KMSI assists the client in solving major and critical problems. Kaizen does it by way of: a) field a team of Kaizen consultants to actually do the problem solving for the client; b) create a cross-functional team (CFT) problem solving team composed of consultants and client’s people; c) provide direction to client on the process of problem solving. Our involvement covers problem identification, root cause analysis, development of countermeasures and formulation of long term solutions. We can go in at any problem solving phase.

KMSI employs managerial, statistical, and engineering/scientific approaches in systematic problem solving. KMSI helps in making sure that solutions to problems are systemic rather than “local”, i.e. the “production system” ends up as the beneficiary of improvement. The “production system” is the way a manufacturing or service organization conducts its business which includes policies, production process, quality system, all the procedures, corporate culture, the way customers are treated, the way of working together, attitudes and behaviors of people, everything that the system know and doesn’t know, including all the physical aspects of their manifestations. Also known as the “Business System”.
